Defrosting: Step-by-Step Ice Water Thawing Method
To fully enjoy the quality and flavor of this product, please follow the thawing instructions below.
Step 1: Keep the frozen tuna loin in its vacuum pack.
Step 2: Prepare a container with water and ice. Make sure the water temperature stays at 32°F (0°C).
Step 3: Place the tuna saku vacuum-packed pack into the ice water. Leave it in the water for 2 hours.
During this time, gently stir the water occasionally to keep the temperature even. Ensure the water temperature remains at 32°F (0°C) the entire time.
Step 4: After exactly two hours, remove the it from the water. Then, open the vacuum pack and clean the surface of the tuna saku.
Step 5: It is now ready to eat immediately.
Additional Note
This method is basically the same as the ice-water thawing method, but the thawing time is set at two hours.
